OeverZaaijer architecture and urbanism is a highly versatile firm of architects. Our list of projects covers a broad range, from urban development to interior design, from restoration to renovation. The company works for project developers, companies, government institutions, housing corporations and also private individuals. International approach: OeverZaaijer is one of the leading architect firms in the Netherlands. Located in Amsterdam with 65 employees from different countries, we have an international approach.

We have organized ourselves within 4 departments:

  • architecture
  • urbanism
  • construction engineering
  • interior design
  • We design and realize a wide range of innovative structures from exciting new architecture to complex renovations. In both the Netherlands and elsewhere, we have cooperated with other European and US based architects.

We respect our environment. Combining sustainability and quality, with functionality and feeling, that is our core competence. Conceptual architecture within the customer framework results in beautiful designs, buildings and interiors.

Within the Netherlands we have realized quite a number of projects in different market segments. Coming from a wide range of office buildings, we have expanded our activities during the years: schools, hotels and leisure, theatres and shops, urban planning, apartments and dwellings, medical and nursing, interiors. Outside the Netherlands we have realized projects in Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, Montenegro and Curacao.

In the Netherlands we participate at the Provada Real Estate fair, and for international contacts at Expo Real in Munich, Germany.

Our mission: Form follows people

Corporate Social Responsibility, as we see it as architects, requires insight into ecology, economy and community and can only be achieved by working together. With clients, with stakeholders, with other specialists and with each other. Our architecture is also formed by our urban planning and engineering department. We assume an integrated to approach our profession. Finding the right balance is our starting point in the design of buildings and spaces.
