HPP about the role of foreign investors

The real estate sector in the Netherlands has large foreign investors. The negative tone of the media and politicians towards these investors makes them feel unsafe and the Netherlands less attractive to new investors. And yet it is so important to create a safe investment climate, because foreign capital is necessary for the development of our sector.

We will sit down to discuss the current Dutch real estate market and debate the question:

What would the Dutch real estate market look like without foreign investors?

We have invited the following speakers to give their vision. Wienke Bodewes will moderate the meeting. After the presentations, we will discuss and have dinner together.

  • Jan-Willem Bastijn | Global Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield
Jan-Willem will present about the conditions for a healthy investment climate to attract and retain foreign investors.
  • Mark Kuijpers | Managing Director at Greystar
Mark will share his experiences as a foreign investor and give his vision for the future.
  • Hans Vermeeren | Director Asset Management at Patrizia
Hans will share developments within Patrizia with us and outline the future.
