HPP’s masterclass about climate adaption

“Our children would rather see us focus on the climate than on money”, said Sandra Phlippen (ABN AMRO’s Chief Economist) during a presentation at an HPP meeting in November 2021. Last March, she repeated that climate change will have a major impact on the financing of real estate. An insurance policy for real estate will eventually be more difficult, or a huge premium will have to be paid.

To continue raising awareness and exchange knowledge about our central theme ‘climate change’, HPP is organising an HPP masterclass.

The goal of the masterclass is to sit together with a small group of decision-makers from the HPP community to give direction to the theme ‘climate adaptation and sustainability’ within the own organisation. Also, we would like to discuss everyone’s personal objectives.

The masterclass will be led by Rudi de Graaf, a consultant with decades of expertise in organisational change with companies, governments and not-for-profits. Rudi worked in the US and for the last 20 years mainly in Europe, where he commutes between Amsterdam and Paris and coaches leadership teams of large organisations, governments and scale-ups.

General information
During the year, HPP organises a number of small, private meetings for decision-makers and guests from the HPP Community. The intimate atmosphere and private nature of these meetings enable participants to exchange thoughts on the basis of equality. The themes of these meetings vary from housing construction, legislation, spatial planning, finances, energy transition and topics related to sustainability and the climate.

This meeting will be organized for decision-makers especially invited for this masterclass.
