HPP-IREIN and HPP-REDA members started the week with a round table discussion with the subject “Will industrial real estate become the new golden investment opportunity for investors?”

The discussion was preceded by a presentation of Menno van Boxtel from Cushman & Wakefield and with sidekick of the evening Jan van den Hogen from Deka Immobilien.

The outcome of the discussion was that industrial real estate, in this case not taking into account logistic properties, could become an interesting investment opportunity if you have the knowledge to proper analyse the business of the tenant and the property it is located in good locations in the Randstad.

The side note, however, is that there is little supply because most owners/users do not see the importance of selling their property.
